Review
Salvatore Freda makes a welcome return to Freerange, turning in two rock solid club tracks that straddle house and techno, with his own individual approach stamped all over them. A long running resident at D Club, one of Switzerland’s finest clubs, Salvatore Freda is an experienced DJ as well as accomplished producer whose previous track on Freerange, ‘Western Spaghetti’, caught the ears of many a big name DJ.
The ‘Worldwild EP’ kicks off in fine style with ‘Miramare’, a track that cleverly manages to sound both subtle and deep whilst being loaded with enough energy and drama to keep a bigger room reaching for the rafters. A killer remix of ‘Irpina’ by Massimo Di Lena closes the package. This Naples rising artist is also just about to drop his first EP for Cadenza and has previously released on Trapez, Frankie, Raum and NRK, to name a few.
