The gang’s all here! Metroline has had a winning streak of releases over the last year, and the masterminds who brought them to us have got together to deliver a compilation that sets out the label’s intention as we go into 2011.
The compilation goes from one tweaked and twisted deep house cut to the next. From Audio Dependent’s off-kilter dub through to Samuel Dan’s floor-filling bruiser, covers the full range.
Mabaan Soul’s Entry To The Cave is the definition of “secret weapon” with its rubber band bass line and grooves that emerge when you least expect them to.
Pattrix & Phiorio provide another of the compilation’s cornerstones. Ghost Train is the latest of a number of great collabs between the two London techno stalwarts, and doesn’t disappoint with its hypnotic vox and overdriven kick drums.
