Release Info:
Samuel L Session welcomes Swedish duo, Svida, back onto his Klap Klap label after the victorious release of Svida ’Hold It’ [KKlap014] in December 2012.
’Dirty Disco (Dub)’ is a dubbed and disco-infused house behemoth. It works with simple principles; big bass, rasping percussion and a classic disco sample – all of which are mastered gratefully by Svida. ’Rain dance’ is a delicate trip deep into the dancefloor. A gently distorted kick drum and sub-bass line acts as the back-bone of the track, as light, shimmering dub chords meander along in a playful fashion.
’Rain dance’ is a track that will fit perfectly in both early and mid sets.
’Tuesday (Deep)’ lays down enticing house-led percussion alongside warm, luscious pads and rich, colourful stabs as it transmits the summer tones we are all longing for.
’Heartache’ brings the jack back rounding off the EP nicely. An upbeat stomp, subtle reverses and some heavy keys action are all tied together in a beautifully constructed piece. Svida show versatility and class on their latest KlapKlap offering, ’Dirty Disco’.
