Gene Farris – Then and Now – No newcomer to the music scene Gene Farris started Djing when he was 17. Gene then slide effortlessly from behind the turn table to in front of drum machines and synthesizers ….releasing his first track back in 1995 on Relief Records. Gene is one of the reasons why we have the music scene we have today. He has worked with and learned from some of the very best….like the Chicago’s House legendary DJ ….Ron Hardy and the infamous Lil Louis. He has always known how to get crowds up on their feet and keep them there…and when he wanted to start doing the tracker side of things he began recording on Relief Records…following and sometimes leading that Chicago track tradition.

Now here we are today…some 24 years later spellbound by his newest album…THEN & NOW. We are finding ourselves unable to turn this new album off….unable to even fast forward from one track to another.
