[audio tonic Records] Following music from the likes of Sebastian Davidson and Nikola Gala, Dubai’s leading underground label, Audio Tonic, is back with a big new single from internationally acclaimed talent Wehbba, complete with a remix from label manager Raxon.

Wehbba is one of the most established electronic music DJs and producers to hail from Brazil. His name has featured across the world on many EPs on respected labels including Bedrock, 100% and Edu Imbernon’s Eklektisch and his polished sound is techy, dynamic and perfectly designed for energetic dancefloors.

This new single ‘Opalescence’ comes in original form and with an Intro Mix. The original is a playful, bubbling bit of house that gets layered up with ever more nimble synth patterns. The hi hats are techno leaning, the bassline sounds electro in style but the whole thing is as groovy as the finest house.

The intro mix is coloured with even larger and more textured sonic sweeps that really help to make it feel like you are being lifted right off your feet. The phone tones and muffled conversation remains to add that important human touch to the mutant chords all around.

Raxon is a local hero renowned for his excellent DJ sets and equally stylish productions. His remix is a more widescreen affair with skewed synth stabs, underlapping kick drums that are warm and paddy and an overall sense of space-age funk.
