Whoever Chicago Flotation Device is, they clearly have a love for the current wave of rough and ready analogue electronics built for prime club decimation. On the A side, “Untitled 5” kicks things off with the brutish thump of staccato drums and rasping synth scrapes all making for a harsh industrial banger of the most direct kind. On the flip side “Untitled 11” lets some acid in the action and piles the hats on heavy, and the tone is still very much one of overdriven drums and guttural synth lines for hardware loving punks everywhere.
