With two decades of experience behind him “Modulation Cave” was always going to be something special. The two tracker is born in the collapsing pressure of “Modulation Cave 1.” Bleary eyed bass bubbles and boils in this heated piece of late night Techno debauchery. Melodies creep while a battery of beats disintegrates nerve endings. The flip is occupied by the twin, “Modulation Cave 2.”

Mike Parker is a heavy hitting Techno artist. The New Yorker pulls no punches, just delivers them in the form of powerful percussion and hypnotic harmonies.

The brother in arms is a calmer affair, but that cyclical tension is ever present. The steady percussion of the original is maintained with harmonies being sent beaming into space.
