Dirtybird casuals Catz n Dogz spring up on the aptly named Pets Recordings with three new house grinders in their familiarly playful tone. “From Your Heart”, for instance, is a slow burner packed with plenty of FX trickery and a gorgeous soundscape of hypnotising vocals. The rest of the EP is similarly deep and mesmerising, scrapping their previous floor-centred house escapades for a richer, more textural sound that will do just as well on a pair of headphones as they will in a warm up DJ set. Top stuff!
