„Closed Sessions“ is a little comeback for our small family business RIVULET RECORDS, so we´re very happy to get help from some good friends on this one. Pablo Mateo from LACK, Perseus Traxx who has released on Bunker and MOS, Mod.Civil from Ortloff in Leipzig, Profile from Esthland and our very own Stanley Schmidt are artists who have been inspiring and exciting us for quite a while and who seem to share the same love for serious dancemusic. Although the tracks are very different, the whole compilation is driven by a dark and moody vibe which doesn´t let go the utopian and hopeful core of Housemusic which has been the light we´re been running for since one of these mornings.
The record comes in a handprinted silkscreen-cover with a artwork by the contemporary artist Julian Dannenbaum, all tracks are mastered beautifully by Pablo Mateo.
