“BASAR” – as defined by the one and only NOMAD:
The word is very ancient. It is derived from ancient assyrian “Bisru” which means “Bloodbonds”. In Aramaeic “בָּשָׂר” (Basar) means “Flesh” as a noun , which can relate both to “meat” as well as “mankind”. In Urdu / Arabic it means “sight/vision” and everything related to the “eye”. From these combined meanings the modern use of the word as “oriental marketplace” comes more clear. A Basar is a place to experience a multitude of impressions with your senses.
