Getting better with age, like good wine, ten years after it’s original release on Jerome Sydenham’s Ibadan Records, Ferrer’s ‘Son Of Raw’ is sounding current as ever.

To celebrate the ‘Big 1.O’ we’ve put together a quality remix package of the original, done by Objektivity’s ‘inner circle’ – three young up & coming artists, hand-picked and mentored by Dennis Ferrer over the past couple of years.

First up, hailing from Germany, is André Hommen. Known to deliver quality time and again (‘Battery Park’, ‘Introspectral’, etc), Hommen’ vision for ‘Son If Raw’ anno 2016 is that of dark and techy, yet danceable.

Second remix of the package is by Nasser Baker, who has just delivered a stellar second EP (‘Future Primitive’) for Objektivity. For his Son Of Raw remix, Nasser stayed close to his roots, creating a delicate mix of classic New York swagger and ‘new skool’, jackin’ it up just a bit.

And last but not least, meet the newest addition to the Objektivity fam: Ghost Of He, the man of mystery and a wearer of many hats (he currently sang on Nasser Baker’s ‘Born Again’ off of his Future Primitive EP). Ghost’ remix is all about a catchy dialogue between baseline and the melody, rounding up the package nicely and showing off his unmistakable talent for songwriting.
