Elrow Music’s ER 084 arrives directly from the beautiful Italian city of Verona. Italia’s Francis White is the man in charge of the 84th instalment of elrow Music, which can be considered more a mini-album than an EP.

‘Houszd EP’ is an original four tracker by White, starting with the track that gives its name to the album. ‘Housdz (Original Mix)’ has a masterly constructed structure and is the kind of track that builds itself progressively, in which we can hear a wooden percussion, almost tribal, with melodies and effects that turns this track into a playful but darkish progression, thanks to its creepy vocals.

On the contrary, ‘Rocket (Original Mix)’ starts strong, with a distressing sound that fades away, replaced by a groovy bassline, with dark vocals, that breaks down with an amazing synth melody that goes till the end of the track.

‘Freakish (Original Mix)’ starts with the same energy than the previous track, although with sexy vocals, a metallic and tight percussion, alien effects and a playful feel to it, a sound signature that elrow Music is trying to stablish with its latest releases.

Finally, ‘Soldier (Original Mix)’ is the mini-album’s closing track, with a loose percussion and a kind of distressing vocal progression, that continues with the line of the rest of this work’s tracks. All in all, ‘Housdz EP’ continues with the sound signature that elrow Music is trying to stablish with their latest releases and that strengthens elrow’s sound beyond the dancefloor.
