The collaboration with Modular Project has finally led to the release of ‘Leaving’, their debut single on Rebirth.
Born and raised between Como and Milan, and joined by a strong love for music and vintage synths, Alberto Iovine and Alessandro Fumagalli started to work in the studio together in 2015, releasing music on labels like Off and Moodmusic before joining Rebirth and launching their own imprint Nothing Is Real. Their rework of the Blond:ish classic ‘Wizard Of Love’ was one of the most requested tracks on Rebirth last year, has been re-released by Time Records now.

‘Leaving’ is an instantly arresting, anthemic slice of electronic pop, fusing powerful drums, driving synth pads, and celestial vocals for emotional impact.
And we are very happy to have in the release two of the most important producers In the electronic music scene: Martin Gretschmann aka Acid Pauli does a superb job, translating the atmospheres of the original onto a dubbier version for the floor, giving us moments of high intensity through a deep journey melancholia and synth laden ambience. One of the most renowned and versatile Danish producers, Kasper Bjørke, reworks the song with a unique blend of sunny, spaced out psychedelic synths and insistent live drums that simply shimmers.
