Freddy Be & Savi Leon return to the label this time with vocalist DNCN on the ‘Habitual EP’ , A superb follow up to last years ‘Benevolence EP’
Opening track ‘Habitual’ is a deep & moody affair with incandescent flair and the legacy of DNCN’s vocal’s . Percussive rhythms and a mystical groove wrap themselves around the vocal with hypnotic effect , A sure fire attention grabber.
Gorge takes the original and put’s it firmly on the knowledgeable tech house floors , fully retaining the main vocal Pit brings the levels up and delivers an underground tech house gem that while keeping the flow of the original adds a more tougher edge to the track proving why he is at the top of the game when delivering those special moments to a floor.
Next up and fresh from his Beatport top 10 hit on the label is George Smeddles and in true Smeddles fashion the groove is utilized to major effect with a more faster paced tribal percussion feel and a super cool burning bass line that will shine on big systems and big rooms.
Closing the EP we have ‘Stay Up’ and here Freddy & Savi move straight to the peak time with a thumping bass led groove with staggered vocals all wrapped nicely around a heady kick and rhythm section . A welcome return to the label for LA’s dynamic duo.
