Dee Montero returns to Anjunadeep with his latest EP, ‘Headspace’. The EP’s title track sees the Belfast-born, Ibiza-based producer thread classic house piano stabs and hard-hitting percussion under Meliha’s alluring topline. The Kuala Lumpurn singer’s powerful vocals are then further accentuated in the dreamy ‘beatless’ mix of ‘Headspace’. Heavy on the arpeggios and piano leads, the EP’s third track is the high-energy club-filler ‘Rise’, followed by closing piece ‘Rapido’ – an animalistic arrangement of vocal chops and gated synth lines.
