If you like your house deep, down and dirty then this latest offering from Tsuba – the work of label boss Kevin Griffiths and Peace Division’s Justin Drake – should be right up your street. ‘Dirty Sanchez’ is a looping, bassy throbber with a parping sax line buried deep in the mix, ‘Cranium’ is another bass-centric affair with an extended beatless breakdown in the middle, ‘Hounslow East’ is a 4am deep dancefloor workout centred around a nagging synth riff and, again, a hefty bottom end, while completing the EP is ‘Jaunty Angles’, a pacier house jam with a tech-y edge and old skool vocal micro-snips.
