From Colombia we welcome Amezquita for his first release on Motek. This is his single ‘1000 Year Illusion’ and it packs some serious weight. Uplifting and atmospheric with a warm bass heavy drive, this production conjures up feelings of euphoria whilst making you move and groove! Complementing the original mix Amezquita has stripped back the lead to create a dub version. Remixing for this release we have Motek favourites Jay Tripwire who has joined with Modern Ancient and Acado who have produced their track with Selektivton. Jay Tripwire and Modern Ancient have delivered two versions of their remix, one grooving piece of Deep House that keeps the atmosphere of the original but with added House flavour, the other a minimal spacious rhythm driven track perfect to add into any DJ set perhaps even for an ‘on the fly’ remix tool. Acado and Selektivton’s take on 1000 Year Illusion is a crisp, punchy piece of House music that gets you jumping. Use of the original lead keeps the focal point and a nod to the original with a breaks section midway through adds an exciting touch.
