Ninja Tune has commissioned remixes of tracks from Jayda G’s debut album – and it’s a truly diverse selection. First up is Honey Dijon’s slamming, acid-heavy takes on “Stanley’s Get Down (No Parking On The DF)”‘. Over the course of two interpretations, she intersperses 303 licks and white noise percussion over a slamming groove. In stark contrast is Dam Funk’s beautiful, gospel-tinged take on “Move To The Front (Disco Mix)” and Fett Burger’s version of “Missy Knows What’s Up”, where the Freakout Cult boss delivers an otherworldly house version that touches on electro influences and chopped up vocals.
