After his smash hit ‘Glare’ with Arude, Radikon proudly welcomes back German-born Tantum for a beautifully crafted 4-tracker. ‘Mave’ is forceful, driving, and filled with understated euphoria.
The title track is powerfully rhythmic and unrelenting. Firing salvos of arpeggios and reverberated synth stabs set to a robust groove, ‘Mave’ beautifully threads the needle between commandingly body-moving and artfully melodic.
Built on shimmering strings and pads, ‘Future Memories’ is a more uplifting affair. Hopeful chord progressions and glittering arpeggios combine to create a firestorm of positive dancefloor energy.
‘Tesseract’ is the groover of the pack. Thrashing and churning just under the surface, the track threatens an almighty peak that remains just out of a reach. A beautiful exercise in tension that never quite resolves.
‘Grimm’ combines a compact groove with Tantum’s full electric orchestra: ethereal stabs, shimmering arps, bells and chimes intertwine to create a track as forceful as it is melodic.
