With 8 releases on our Dekmantel Records imprint, 2021 saw us delve deep into the disparate corners of our musical spectrum. We had the honour to welcome some of our closely affiliated label artists back with new releases by Bruxas and upsammy, and with renewed iterations of our RE:VIVE collaboration and the compilation of homegrown talents together with Patta, proven formats found their way back onto the label. But perhaps more than other years, 2021 revolved around debuts on the label: Alberta Balsam, Frits Wentink with Erik Madigan Heck, Philip Jondo with DJ Plead and Maxwell Sterling, and an era-defining compilation by Cinema Royale all new label members that entrusted us with their music. Melting all those sounds together into one overarching compilation, were proud to present Dekmantel Best Of 2021 an embrace of 2021 as a year of great music that found its way onto our label.//
