After a series of successful events, underground Belgian party crew “Disrupt The Surge” kick off their new record label with the inaugural release by techno prodigy Illiya Korniyenko, who debuts as the first artist on the imprint with his pounding and no holds barred EP “Gumball 3000.” The EP delivers two wickedly stomping acid killers showcasing Illiya’s highly skilled and quality productions that he has become known for, as well as two slamming remixes of the title track by infamous hard acid techno artists “Ad Nauseam” and hard techno maestro “SWART.”
The EP kicks off with ‘Gumball 3000’, a straight-up and hard-hitting acid banger complimented with psychedelic elements and uniquely arranged percussion. The EP continues the trip with the second track, “West to East,” which will take you on a mental journey into your mind with a brilliant blend of dreamy atmospheric pads and tripped-out acid over a heavy driving beat.
On the flip side,” Ad Nauseam” and” SWART” both bring relentless and nasty remixes of the title track “Gumball 3000,” guaranteed to rock any dancefloor.
Hard acid techno and rave duo “Ad Nauseam” from Melbourne, Australia, focus on the dark, dirty, and more ominous aspects of the original while driving it into harder-edged, filthy, and twisted acid techno territory with their trademark mid-’90s rave-inspired style they have become known for.
To finish the EP, hard techno maestro “SWART” delivers a modern-day and industrial-edged remix of the original using insanely heavy distorted kicks and a more unique and mind-bending take of the original acid pattern.
