Nacho Sanchez ‘Other Places’ is newest Mood Series release. #70 in the overall series, this is Nacho’s first featured EP with us and he gave us even more than we expected with these bomb’s. Nacho Sanchez says he has made the first two based on his sensations and mental images that inspire well-being and harmony, but at the same time also great uncertainty. ‘Tundra’ is a melodic and hypnotic opener. Deep techno in all its glory as it revels in being a slow-peaker builder. ‘Sygnals’ is the more techy of the lot. A unique approach to the beat pattern leaves a disjointed feeling that slowly morph’s into following the chord’s lead to a fantastic end result. A creative approach that is sure to win you over on first listen. Nacho says he is influenced by various rhythm’s and movement’s in techno but also with the electro genre and the more relaxed state of soundwaves like ‘Frozen Sea’ does. ‘Clouds in my Head’ opens up the skies with a breezy high-altitude winner.
