VONDA7’s story is one of realising your dreams through determination, tenacity and hard work. Growing up on a mish mash of sounds, finding French House and then Techno transformed this Polish artists life forever.
Attending SAE Amsterdam began her journey towards a living her dream which now sees her transformed into a savvy buisnesswoman who juggles DJing, producing and label owning with consummate ease. Signed already to a wide array of imprints from Sasha’s LNOE to Sian’s Octopus Recordings, VONDA7’s sound defies pigeonholing, making her all the more exciting.
Opening with low-slung bubbly acid, and twickling arps, ‘Perception’ in orginal form is aimed squarely at the peak time floor. Crisp percussion keeps time while the sparkling synths start to weave their magic. The main break serves as a quieting before those arps go into overdrive in the secord half.
First up of remix duties, Alex O’Rion adds his considerable studio skill to the mix with a deep, early morning vibe perfect for an Ibizan sunrise. Straight after, Graziano Raffa takes the original motifs and applies his Italian charm creating a smooth uptempo ride with the repeating arp wrapped around the beat while frequencies of Reese bass roar from the bottom.//
