Starting out as a drum n bass dj, London based Dax J, had his first releases under various aliases on Mickey Finns legendary Urban Takeover label with later releases on his own imprint Xplicit Sound. He spent many years as a DJ on the drum n bass circuit and hosted a show on one of Londons leading pirate stations Origin Fm. In early 2009 he released his debut artist album Heaven and Hell, showing his versatility as a producer fusing House, Techno, Drum n Bass & Electronica to create his own signature sound.

Within a short space of time Dax J has seen track support from the likes of Umek, Jon Rundell and Pete Tong. Label wise, he has had tracks signed and released on Airbus, Aux, Bedlam, ESWAT, Phonico, Industry of House, Mercado Paralelo, Symphonic Digital Records, Xplicit Sound & Vector Records 2.0.

His debut release on AUX is an infectious mixture of pounding big room techno and Tech-house grooves. With catchy hooks and a soulful energy, which gives his productions a unique, yet elegantly crafted sound.
