Soma label heads Slam, close out the year with a superbly crafted EP, showcasing their hypnotic & direct driving sound on the Flicker EP. This latest release encompasses various disciplines and strips things down to a pure and introspective heads down dance floor vision. Title track Flicker has all that usual Slam drive and attitude as rolling drums and sharp percussion are bolstered with a pulsing, warping synth hook. Volitantdelves deep as subaquatic atmospheres and tones are processed perfectly, delivering a backdrop of hypnotism.
