Jody Barr returns to open Sudbeats 2025 schedule high on a wave of success. Breaking onto the scene around a decade ago, Jody has built up a serious back catalogue on some high profile imprints such as LNOE, Balance and The Soundgarden, as well as support from elite players such as Sasha, Laurent Garnier and Hernan Cattaneo himself. His own label, Portable Minds has grown in statue since launch in 2016 allowing Jody and like-minded artists to release creative projects that buck current trends without fear. Opening the EP, Cherry Red bounces from the speaker. An uptempo percussive framewerk sets the scene as melodics ebb and flow.
