Infernal Sounds announce their latest signing and kick off 2024 in true fashion with a soundsystem destroyer from Quasar, titled Reminiscence Dub EP. Not only that, but he brings fellow IFS family member Causa in for a collaboration on the 3rd feature. The title track kicks off proceedings kicking and stomping with a juggernaut step and neck snapping snare, it’s immensly immersive from start to finish. ‘Space Riddim’ strips things back and centres around progressively building through bleeps, blops & reverberating SFX, while ‘Molotov’ adds the extra weight, bringing a really wet & squelchy mainframe, and a relentless element of pressure. It’s a release that really isn’t for the weak hearted and one that will be doing ultimate damage on the dancefloors leading into Summer. A proper celebration of soundsystem music.
