Berlin-based SIRS is back on Hell Yeah with the new single Woman, an instrumental version plus a remix from label favourite My Friend Dario. Woman (Vox Mix) is a magnificent nine-minute odyssey where silky arps loop around fluttering melodic leads. The chugging beats have a perfect mix of snap and deepness so quickly hypnotise you. There is always soothing going on throughout the track, whether thats a classic falsetto vocal sample, Middle Eastern-style chords or textured guitar licks. Its an epic, slow-burning dance floor workout that also comes as a shorter version and a widescreen instrumental. My Friend Dario was last here with his Senza Estate album in August, which was a perfectly dreamy summer soundtrack. He shows another side here as his wonderful Food For Woofers Remix brings driving, club-ready technoid beats and warped bass under an explosion of melodies that will twist late-night dance floors inside out.
