Island Hill is back with a new dimension to their signature sound. For this release, the band has teamed up with Ukrainian producer Komilev, whose recent work on Discotexas, Exploited, Frau Blau, Super Sapiens, and Watergate has turned heads across the electronic music world. His productions are in the crates of the industrys most respected tastemakers and his influence has pushed Island Hill into exciting new territory. While the EP still carries Island Hills signature lush songwriting and Pacific guitars, this time, the band leans deeper into the dancefloor, weaving in heavily processed vocoder vocals and hypnotic, groove-driven elements. With Komilevs cutting-edge production at the core, these three tracks bring a refined and electrifying new shade to the bands sound-fusing organic textures with modern club energy.
