Dávur Poulsen, professionally known as Playmo, is a Faroese electronic music producer with an international following. His pumping, hard-hitting techno sound draws influences from the Detroit and Berlin scenes. Though hailing from the small Faroe Islands, Playmo has achieved worldwide recognition and distribution for his music. His style is heavy and driving, characterized by pounding basslines and relentless rhythms that capture the energy of a techno dancefloor. After his debut on [R]3volution Uncod3d in April 2024 with Tide EP, and after great releases on prominent labels like Planet Rhythm, MindTrip, CMND CTRL and Modern Minimal, just to name a few, he lands on [R]3volution Records roster with Dark Limit EP.
