Most of you will know Classmatic from his huge Toma Dale (ft. Nfasis) on Hot Creations. Since its 2022 release, it has been a huge hit with DJs across the board, from Sam Divine to Vintage Culture, BLOND:ISH to Kaz James. So when he hit us up asking to remix Giulio Cadris sleeper hit rework of Hotel Uglys Shut Up Your Moms Calling, we were all ears. On this remix, Classmatic delivers the kind of percussion pleasure weve come to expect from the Brazilian tastemaker. Much like his rework of MAWs classic Everybody Be Somebody, this one delivers. His clever drum work add a real punch to the groove, while Giulios chords and vocal sit majestically on top. With Mochakk already on board, this remix looks set to add another big tune to Classmatics arsenal.
