We are honored to present our latest collaborator Ryogo Yamamori, a Tokyo based veteran-DJ and producer with a highly prolific decade behind him. His sound is both curious and refined – original yet full of references. This is a quality perfectly encapsulated in this trilogy of original tracks. The hazy melancholy of “Rainfall” recalls a young Yagya, while the warm hypnotic synthworks of “Fernwood” and “Across The Water” brings to mind Dominik Eulberg or something Kompakt of the 00’s. Influences from our scene’s legacy, yet uniquely Yamamori’s very own, timeless sound palette. Remix duty is by non other than Italian wizard Feral. With numerous excellent releases on Hypnus, Mental Modern and his own Aube Rouge we’ve learnt that everything he’s touching turns to gold. And this is no exception. Slick, fat and groovy psych-techno of highest order, for deep time purposes only.
