Akasha FX Artist Bio

Akasha FX is the production partnership of Kristian Townsend and Darren Beale. As well as Akasha FX, both Kristian and Darren also produce the breakbeat project ‘Ways And Means’ together which has made a solid name for itself since it first came onto the scene as well as being part of Kosheen and Kosheen DJ’s which needs no introduction.

Akasha FX brings together all elements of their musical paths and creates a new and exciting project combining electronica, down tempo, ambience and breaks, creating a new sound that we are proud to be a part of.

To describe their sound is the hardest part, they create sonic soundscapes and combine vocals from a variety of singers, beats (both breaks and downtempo) and blend them to encourage what i can only describe as deep listening through a hybrid of all their musical experience.
