Alen Sforzina Artist Bio

Originally from Pula Croatia, Alen started out in the early 80s playing bass, synths and drum machines in underground electro bands. He then moved to Innsbruck/Austria in 1988 and started djing two years later. In 1992 he won the 2nd place on Austrian DMC championship and was working with the Dance House Corporation from Rome where he played at raves and clubs in Italy. He completed a 2 year degree at the Studies of Sound Engineering in Munich and during 96/97 he worked on the project project CDE (Creative Dance Experience) with Austrian vocal acrobat Belinda Reinhart for Napoli Rec. (Austria). Alen was the man responsible for initiation & evolution of the party scene in Istria / Croatia. It was in the summer of 1996 when Alen played in Croatia for the first time and after many successful and unforgettable gigs he has become a regular deejay at most of the Croatian parties and raves. As an artist manager of the Beatbull – party promotion team he organised truly unforgettable rave events such as Technopolis,Tribal instinct, Hallowind && many others. He was always bringing only the world known djs & live acts from around the globe. It was his aproach who always made sure he presents the most advanced music & excellence in sound of his time. From 1997-2006 Alen live in Graz/Austria where he runs a music studio and works on various studio projects. GraFit (Stadtwald/Urban Mantra / Toneman),a co-production with Daniele Papini.They have had a massive dj support from acts like: Adam Beyer, Pascal Feos, Valentino Kanzyani, Alex Bau, Marko Nastic..Specialized European reviews gave their releases superior critiques while many electronic music web sites and record stores voted them “The records Of The Week”. Alen also does a special Live project with Sweden dj Staffan Ehrlin aka Slobodan(Goathead).Another project with German dj Alex Bau and techno project with Croatian dj Ogi (Submission). He has done co-productions with dj Miki (Italy) for Sun Generation Records (Taguro, Shainko and Spez by Fez) and solo projects under the names ;Technosforza,Togo, Wizard of Fez and AS. The solo project he did as AS, Submarine EP, for Sun Generation Records was charted on the American Balance chart for 12 weeks and played by high profile artists such as Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Fergie(Uk BBC-1), Cris Fortier(USA) and Dj Dero (Argentina). Performing both as a deejay and a live act he combines various styles (Eletroniq,House,Techno) rather than sticking to just one style. He has deejayed and performed live sets all over Europe. In autumn 2006 Alen decided to change his residency so he moved from Graz/Austria to Florence/Italy. Alen expects to find a new musical and life inspiration in Florence.
