Almanacs Artist Bio

Wilmer Murillo is Almanacs, an audiovisual artist and designer from Honduras, who after more than ten years of developing a busy career in visual design and illustration, started to explore with sound design and experimental music by making use of synthesizers, tape loops, guitar pedals, microphones and computer software.

Wilmer’s compositions are inspired in nature, in which contemplation and stillness are actually part of the creative process.

Almanacs is also founder of Templo Animal Records, a collective and netlabel that showcases experimental electronic musicians from Latin America.
