Ambrela Artist Bio

Named after one of the most beautiful cities in the world, “Praha” begins with eerie, paranoid bass and continues this theme of enclosed space and unsettling atmospherics as horror-film keys play out a nightmare soundtrack while high-energy hi-hats push the tempo. “I’m In Love” has the tight kicks and dampened euphoric techno vibes of hardcore, and it’s not until those drums play out break after break that you’re certain there won’t be a hike up to 200+ bpm. It’s still ambitiously key-neutral sounding, bouncing from minor to major in a skewed, disconcerting manner in-keeping with Ambrela’s penchant for messing with heads. Not for the faint-hearted.
