Anna Cavazos

…is a NY based dj/producer/songwriter. She began her career as a DJ at NYC lounges Bar B, Alphabet Lounge, Halo and Cellar Bar, gracing the decks on a weekly basis for parties that varied from fashion events to residencies. Her sound spans from nu-soul & latin-house to electronic and jazz. She has a distinctive singing voice and uses it in her sultry, mood-setting productions. She has worked with producers Sandy Rivera, Satoshi Tomei, Boyd Jarvis, Alexi Delano, Julian Bendall, BIONIK and John Warrin and plans to continue collaborating and expanding with new artists.

• Her premier single ‘Lying’ was featured on Deepa NYC’s ‘Suenos’ compilation released in 2005

• Her recent works include “Sabor” and “Free at Last” both have been re-mixed by BahSonik and will be included on their upcoming album.

• Her song “Free at Last” is out now in Japan, UK, Greece, Italy, France and the US and is available at cisco.com, juno.com and beatport.com.

• She toured Italy this summer and played at the famed seaside Guendalina Club with DJ Camo and will be returning for winter gigs in Italy DECEMBER 2008.
