Another Life Artist Bio

There are at least two bands that share this name:

2) Progressive Metal outfit ANOTHER LIFE is the brainchild of PAGANIZER and RIBSPREADER guitar player Andreas ‘Dea’ Karlsson.

During 2003 and 2004, Dea recorded the demos “Another Life” and “Melancholia”.The debut demo “Another Life” (2003), was recorded by Andreas (guitar, bass and vocals) and Dan Swanö (drums, keyboards and production / EDGE OF SANITY, NIGHTINGALE).The second demo “Melancholia” (2004) was recorded in Dea’s home studio. All songs had only vocals and acoustic guitars.

In 2005 ANOTHER LIFE, signed to Vic Records and started to record their debut album “Memories for Nothing”. Around the end of 2005 Karlsson collected high quality session-members for the recordings of ANOTHER LIFE’S debut album. This studio session recording was done by: Andreas Karlsson, all vocals, rhythm, acoustic and bass guitars, Peter Damin drums, Per Fransson lead guitars (SOULBREACH), Fredrik Pettersson guitar harmonies, Joakim Diener (ex PAGANIZER) additional bass guitar and Dan Swano keyboards.Production,mixing and mastering of course by Dan Swanö.

This endeavour expanded to a full band as Karlsson and Swano introduced lead guitarist Fredrik Petterson of HYBRID FREAK DIVISION, and the SKIES BRING TEARS musicians, second guitar player Christian Ahlsen, bass player Andreas Ottosson, keyboard player Niklas Ottosson and August Lengquist on drums. ANOTHER LIFE signed a two-record deal with Vic Records.

ANOTHER LIFE play fresh,original Progressive Metal that features excellent songwriting combined with a high degree of musicianship and are highly recommended.
