Arm In Arm Artist Bio

There are several bands using this name:
1. Australian band
Arm in Arm are artists Eliza Jacobs and Luke Moore-Martin. The Melbourne duo is all about creating solidarity through underground house music rooted in deep melodic sounds with heart. When Booka Shade discovered Arm in Arm, they were attracted to their edgy sound, which evoked unexpected emotional nuances. This is thanks to the alchemy of their influences, which range from techno to Balearic beat, classical, trip-hop and electronica.

Meeting in Melbourne, when U.K. born Moore-Martin first moved from London, they instantly connected over their love of music and formed a partnership. The two used their ongoing careers as DJ’s to develop their sound and production knowledge while experimenting with Jacobs’ vocals to forge their unique style.

Their debut EP ‘Nightfly’ released on Booka Shade’s label Blaufield Music in 2018 was a great success, reaching #5 in the Top 100 release’s chart and #3 in the Melodic House & Techno chart on Beatport. With their second release ‘Hunger For Your Vibe’ out now on Blaufield Music already breaking into the Top 10 and their Australian support shows for Booka Shade a success, Arm In Arm are looking forward to an exciting 2019.

2. Street Punk Band from Houston, Texas

Street punk from Houston, Texas. Released “2 Years of Complete Shit” which was both of their earlier demos together. Formed in 2001 and disbanded in 2004. Influenced by UK82 bands and US streetpunk.
Arm in Arm quickly spread in popularity in Houston during 2002-2004, playing with bands like World Burns to Death, the Krum Bums, Defiance, Clit 45, Endless Struggle, Blind Society, the Strap Onz and many more. The group was also responsible for getting one club called The Oven shut down over a police raid during one of thier shows where guitarist Travis was arrested and the rest of the band had pending charges for insighting a riot. Arm in Arm quickly became known for a slew of fights and had a reputation for getting banned from venues. All music sales were DIY made only by the band themselves including all merchindise made by drummer Travis and guitarist Jon. Due to personal reasons the band eventually split up and Kenny and drummer Travis made a couple of attempts to start a couple new bands that quickly fizzled out while the rest of Arm in Arm attempted to save what was left of the band by moving AJ to vocals and bringing in a new drummer. The band played one more show as Arm in Arm playing with the Exploited then changed thier name to the Cussed shortly after. The band was disbanded quickly after.
