Aylin Artist Bio

–Romanian singer–
Aylin Cadîr got her start back in 2002 when she took part in Romania’s version of Pop Idol and was chosen to be part of an all-girl pop singing group. She was 16 back then and now, at 26 her style has changed completely. Aylin now explores jazz, melding it with pop influences. In concerts, she performs along her live band, The Lucky Charms, a group of professional jazz musicians.

In 2012 she decided to have her own jazz-pop album, with songs specially written for her by Bazooka and Christie from Moonlight Breakfast, Alex Burcea from Mandinga, Elena Moroșanu and Ciprenko. The album is called Cloud and is scheduled to be launched in Spring 2013. The album is called “Cloud”, signed by Clouds Production, a musical publisher and record label that aims to promote modern jazz music.

The first single off the album Cloud was launched in November 2012, together with a music video directed by Răzvan Marinescu. Her next single on the album, Chemistry, will be launched this February.

As far as her acting career goes, Aylin is starting in 3 theatre plays:
– The Shape of Things by Neil Bute, at Godot in Bucharest.
– Maitreyi, directed by Chris Simion, going on tour this February in cities throughout Romania.
– The Lesson by Eugene Ionesco, directed by Horațiu Mălăele, at Ploiesti.
