Barney Bones Artist Bio

Barney Bones is out to change the culture, and he knows that change comes first from within.


Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, he was surrounded by a palpable culture of music from a young age, listening to everything from Snoop Dogg & Tha Dogg Pound to Depeche Mode at home, and living in the neighborhoods that catalyzed the careers of artists like Ice Cube and Nipsey Hussle; artists who reminded him of himself, artists who encouraged him to be fearless in his creativity.


Beginning 2023 with this release and its underlying intention, will certainly see a lot of change for the nascent artist this year, and it’s only a matter of time before the culture follows.
