Bee Honey Artist Bio

Bee Honey was born and raised in the coldest of winters, with nothing more than the fur of his bear skin blanket to keep him warm. His grandfather killed that bear and made the blanket with his own hands. He never got to know his grandfather. His mother had always told him that his grandfather was attacked by a bear one spring afternoon while he was trying to bring back a jar of sweet honey for the bread his beautiful wife had made. Ever since, his mother has vowed she would never eat honey or allow her children to even taste it.
But (Bee honey) has always been full of curiosity. He spent most of his childhood alone in the woods surrounding his cabin. One day, (bee honey) was struck by a strange buzzing sound near an oak tree he grew particularly fond of. He had heard the buzzing noises of insects before, but never one like this. It was a strange looking insect, with a stinger on the end. He looked into the hole in the oak tree and saw a sticky, golden substance that he had never laid eyes on before. He dipped his fingers in and placed his sticky fingers in his mouth. He had never tasted anything like it. He immediately went to place his hands back in the golden substance, but was stopped by an acute pain. The insect had stung him.
Tears swelled in his eyes and he sat down on the ground and wondered ‘How could something so sweet, so delectable be made by something so hurtful?’
And it was this thought that fueled his every action from this point forward. His music comes from a place deep, deep inside of him. A place of innocence and youth.
