Citizen Kain Artist Bio

Citizen Kain, a duo consisting of Bruno.D from Montpellier and Chris Dudzinski from
Lyon, have written electro house tunes in the past on “Regular” and sub labels of
“Ladomat”, but since then have worked more and more in the direction of minimal techno.
Citizen Kain´s first My Best Friend release “Doppelgänger” is the result of their actual state
of art and a big clubber!
“Doppelgänger” on the a-side is an electrifying cool tech-house track that is stripped
down to the essentials and shows that Citizen Kain have experience through their numerous
live sets how to pull the strings.
It´s elements consist of Disco, Hi Energy and Techno and together create what they
themselves describe as an “explosive cocktail”.
Super slack percussion programming, a courageous super break, a sequencer that gives
drive… and a lot of feeling for the essentials of the dance floor make this track so special.
On the flipside “Lost & Found” is in comparison much more electro House influenced and
with it´s dark atmosphere it is destined to be a night crawler.
Citizen Kain have been supported or play listed in the past by Oliver Huntemann, Ivan
Smagghe, Mandy, Oliver Koletzki, David Carretta, Westbam, Chloé, Terrence Fixmer,
Oxia, Miss Kittin, Dave Clarke, DJ Hell, Agoria, The Hacker, etc.
