Dani Koenig Artist Bio

Dani Koenig is from Zurich, Switzerland; he first got into music through his father being a jazz musician with a huge record collection which instantly triggered off Dani’s love for music. Dani’s influences range from black, disco and all sorts of electronic music. As a kid he played drums and he started to produce tracks when he got his first Akai sampler in 1993.

His DJ career started a few years earlier in 1988 when he began djing acidhouse. Dani owns his own label called “Zurich” like his hometown. The label only releases vinyl and its a creative avenue where Dani likes to give young producers an outlet to release their music. For his own productions he tries to produce simple tracks, not overloaded with gimmicks. Tracks to dance to and tracks that give you a warm experience on the dancefloor.
