DANK refers to at least 4 artists:

(1) the Cape Town electronic beats producer
(2) the Pamplona-Iruñea based young band.
(3) A hip-hop duo based in Baltimore, MD.
(4) A Seattle stoner doom band with a hint of magic.

(1) is a self-proclaimed lover of vintage analogue synths and electronic music. Affiliated with the African Dope label, he runs a commercial production studio in central Cape Town, spending most of his time dj’ing or churning out huge beats with a pervasive mischief always present. more at www.myspace.com/dankcpt

(2) is a Pamplona-Iruñea based young band. They work with programmings and instrumentation (sometimes they get near to music for films), mixed with metal or even funky music. Lyrics, some reivindicatives, some personal, are written from a very shape point of view. They sing in basque language.

(3) A hip-hop group based in Baltimore, MD.
