Dave Scott Artist Bio
Dave Scott has been a musician since the age of 7. He spent most of his life playing guitar and song writing. He started playing in local clubs by age 14 and within a few years started earning a living as a guitarist. At the age of 17, he had his first record, “Tuff Luck” released on an Indie Label. It sold over 50,000 copies. During this time he was featured in many National Publications such as, “Guitar Player”, “Guitar for the Practicing Musician” and “Guitar World” magazines, just to name a few.
In 2002 Dave moved to the Los Angeles area to further his career. He spent most of that year working on a project with the late great, Tony Thompson, drummer of Power Station, David Bowie and many others. In 2003 he was doing recordings and live shows with vocalist, Matt Kramer of Saigon Kick. During 2004-2005 he worked on a project, Martyr Plot, with drummer, Ginger Fish of Marilyn Manson. 2006-2008 he was a part of the Los Angeles based group, The Forward. Late 2007 they recorded their debut CD, which is due to be released in August of 2008. Currently Dave is working as a session guitarist.
