GoodMostlyBad Artist Bio

Since debuting the alias, Indian-born, Qatar-based artist GoodMostlyBad has been honing her craft both as a producer – with tracks appearing on Scuffed Recordings, Earful of Wax, and Reel Long Overdub, alongside a string of self-released projects – and as a DJ, guesting on Rinse FM, Balamii and Reprezent, as well as hosting her own residency on New Delhi’s Boxout FM and Paris’ Radio Flouka.
A self-taught musician, GoodMostlyBad productions are a realm of intimate thoughts, discoveries, and experiences of a woman navigating life on her terms. Citing hip hop, Afrobeats, dancehall and grime as major influences, GoodMostlyBad’s sound eschews definition but pulls from an array of contemporary club genres to create throbbing grooves and dark, intense atmospheres.
As a selector, she provides bass-heavy, dance-floor-stomping sounds. Her flair for mixing an array of genres makes her DJ sets exciting and unexpected – taking the listeners through a range of energy and emotions. Read more on Last.fm.
