Guy Andrews is fast becoming one of the most diverse and stylistically independent young electronic producers to come out of the UK in recent years.

Releasing on some of the most influential record labels in electronic music such as Hotflush and Hemlock Recordings, his percussion-oriented sound is instantly recognisable on dance floors throughout the UK and across the globe.

With a production background in post-rock, jazz and ambient music, Guy Andrews brings a unique and unusual edge to electronic dance music. With a distinguished focus on rhythm and percussive elements inspired by afrobeat and jazz, combined with song structures influenced by post-rock, he infuses these elements with modern house and techno – creating intricate sounding yet dancefloor-friendly tracks.

Guy Andrews has received DJ and radio support from artists and tastemakers such as Massive Attack, Mary Anne Hobbs, Benji B, Scuba, Funk D’Void, Ame, Dixon and Untold to name but a few. Online and print publications such as Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, Mixmag, Clash Music, XLR8R, Fact and The Quietus having also given high praises of his productions.

As a DJ, Guy Andrews comes into his own. His natural ability for mixing transcends into his unique and eclectic selections within the house and techno realm. You won’t often find guy playing the typical club hits – he digs deeper to build more usual sets – coherently covering vast stylistic territory.
