Handshake Artist Bio

There are many bands named Handshake.

1) Handshake was the supergroup of the North Andover, MA music scene. Take the primary songwriting force behind SDH, Ian Douglas (bass) and Mike Moschetto (drums/production), and transfer them to the rhythm section. Now put the songwriters from Told In Photographs, Josh Bolduc (guitar/vocals/production) and Mike Wolfenden (vocals), at the forefront to handle the hooks. Throw in guitarist Chris Phaneuf for good measure, and you have some of the strongest songs North Andover has ever seen, in the form of the limited-release Compliments EP.

2) Handshake is a folk-rock band from London, UK.

3) Handshake is also an Art Rock group from the San Francisco Bay Area. They are well know for their covers from bands such as Radiohead and The Strokes. The have an album due winter of 2011.

4) Handshake is a Brooklyn-based producer of experimental electronic music. His first release, ‘Impresses Ladysmith Black Mambazo’, is free for download on his site. His followup full length, ‘Hush, My Jew Friend’, is due out in 2013.
