Kiwi Artist Bio

There are currently three artists by the name of Kiwi:
1. KIWI’s full name is Wiktoria Nazarian – a Krakow singer, composer and songwriter. She is of Polish and Armenian descent. She says to her one of the most beautiful things are made when Ableton and her are locked up alone in her room on the eleventh floor. She loves the combination of delicate vocals with the electronic sound. She writes songs that capture the heart and hypnotize the listener. She started her solo career with the action of FONOBO Pitcher, as part of which she released the single “Zatraceni”. Continuing cooperation with FONOBO Label, she released the EP “Nocą”. Her sensitivity and fresh approach to music were appreciated by listeners and Spotify. KIWI was one of the faces of the first local edition of the RADAR project, the aim of which is to support young artists from Poland. Her debut album entitled “Pętla” will be was released on January 28, 2022.

KIWI kryje się Wiktoria Nazarian – krakowska wokalistka, kompozytorka i autorka tekstów. Ma w sobie pół krwi polskiej i pół ormiańskiej. Mówi, że najpiękniejsze rzeczy powstają, kiedy zamknie się sam na sam z Abletonem w swoim pokoju na jedenastym piętrze. Uwielbia połączenie delikatnego wokalu z elektronicznym brzmieniem. Tworzy piosenki, które łapią za serce i hipnotyzują słuchacza. Swoją solową karierę rozpoczęła od akcji FONOBO Pitcher, w ramach której wydała singiel “Zatraceni”. Kontynuując współpracę z FONOBO Label wypuściła EPkę “Nocą”. Jej wrażliwość oraz świeże podejście do muzyki zostały docenione przez słuchaczy oraz Spotify. KIWI była jedną z twarzy pierwszej lokalnej odsłony projektu RADAR, którego celem jest wspieranie młodych artystów z Polski. Jej debiutancki album zatytułowany „Pętla” ukaże się już 28 stycznia 2022.

2. According to their own website, ““KiWi” is Japanese musical collaboration between solo artists “AZUpubschool” and “COR!S”. The duo’s sound incorporates electronic beats and fantasy inspired instrumentals. With an elegant and quirky style, the duo presents the mysterious story of “KiWi” little by little through their music.” In July 2016, they released the EP “SUGAR PANIC” with Mad Decent, a label established by Diplo member of Major Lazer. Among other releases, they also have songs included Mad Decent’s A Very Decent Christmas compilations, such as “The Christmas Party” and “What’s In The Present Box?”. In July 2019, They released the album “The tale of KiWi Episode1 ~Meeting Kiwi The Ghost~”, containing 15 songs with an overall story.

共にアーティスト兼プロデューサーとして活躍するAZUpubschool(アズパブスクール)とCOR!S(コリス)によるサウンドプロデューサーユニット。 エレガントでどこか奇妙な楽曲は、コンセプトストーリーであるおとぎ話“KiWi物語”をテーマに創られる。そのストーリーは、音楽だけでなく様々なコンテンツを通して少しずつ明らかになっていく。 Major Lazerのメンバーである米プロデューサーDiplo主催のレーベル〈Mad Decent〉より2016年7月に『SUGAR PANIC』をリリース。その後も同レーベルのコンピレーションに参加、またBBC Radio〈Diplo&Friends〉にもゲスト出演を果たした。国内からは〈ヴィレッジヴァンガードミュージック〉より初のCD作品『KiWi物語』をリリースするほか、アーティストやNHKの子供向け番組への楽曲提供、ゲーム『PS4 太鼓の達人』に楽曲が収録されるなど国内外から高い注目を集めている。 2019年7月、物語と15の楽曲がシンクロするおとぎ話アルバム『KiWi物語第一章 〜おばけのキウィとの出会い〜』を発表

3. An alias by Canadian DJ Basil Chapman, persistent to producing Happy-Hardcore and Rave Music, Kiwi was based off her pet bird also named Kiwi.
